McLeods Lawyers has been part of the community since Kerikeri was a small village based around the emerging horticultural industry.

The wider Kerikeri region is now the fastest-growing area in Northland and offers an attractive lifestyle, diverse population and varied business opportunities.

We are conveniently located in ground-floor offices, just opposite the Post Office in Kerikeri, on Hobson Avenue.

Graeme McLelland, Partner

Graeme has a wealth of experience and specialised local knowledge, arising from over 30 years working as a lawyer in Kerikeri. His experience and skill ensures that complex transactions run smoothly without any hidden surprises for his clients.

Graeme is down to earth, approachable and calm. Graeme’s clients hold him in high regard and appreciate his easy manner and his comprehensive approach to any problem.

Graeme and his wife Margaret spend even more quality time together now that Margaret has become the firm’s receptionist. Graeme is a bit of a fitness fanatic – he has been a marathon runner in the past, and now fits in a gym session before work most mornings and he mountain bikes and kayaks with his mates whenever possible.

Sarah Jury, Partner

Sarah uses simple, practical and innovative solutions to obtain the best outcome for her clients while remaining calm, approachable and friendly. Sarah specialises in relationship property, estates and trusts within the firm, but also provides advice in other areas including conveyancing, subdivisions and employment.

Sarah has been with McLeods since 2004 and is well settled in a ramshackle property in Oromahoe with her husband and young daughter.

Sarah has been well known for her shoe obsession, clothes that are “slightly too extravagant” for any situation and the huge quantity of reading she does outside work. She also enthusiastically participates in her family’s penchant for dressing up: her husband Mike is part of a Viking Living History group and Sarah belly dances with her mother and sister.
